improved drop rates for exotic class items??

I've done at least 50 overthrows and I have never gotten an exotic class item on the last chest. I get about 80% of mine after it's done during the 5 minutes of no enemies. Just roam around the map opening chests.

Just did 4 overthrows in a row to see this new drop rate and did not get a single class item. I opened every chest that showed up.

I have never done 4 in a row before without getting one.

Bad luck or is anybody else not seeing an increase in drops?

Drop rate is astronomically low but they seem to have an equal chance from any chest. I got all 3 of mine from random chests.

Yeah, I'm starting to feel like this was almost a nerf, not a buff...
You used to get a stacking chance to get one after opening chests, but that is now removed.

Used to get all mine from world chests on the pale heart,did four overthrows last night after reset plus multiple world chests and got nothing,this is definatly a nerf and not a buff…possibly a bug?

It's definitely a nerf. I did about 15 overthrows in about 2-3 hours and I got 2 class items (both dupes of course). I was averaging 2 an hour just doing chest runs in the Landing before the so called increased drop rate. I honestly think Bungie doesn't want us to get the exotic class items from anywhere except the dual destiny mission.

Has to be a bug or I hope it's a bug. I have done 9 OTs since the 'buff' and have gotten 1 class item. That's way worse than before the 'buff'.
