Server issues?
Anybody else having issues with the servers as of late? My fireteam and I have been getting 'weasel' errors for the past half-hour while doing the Excision and GM activities. Now each time, we enter an activity, we all get kicked out less than a minute later, regardless of the activity.

Destiny 2 is fully online with no reported issues. I'm playing right now and having no issues. I've double checked with multiple people in Discord servers and none of them are having issues either.

If you're constantly disconnecting and seeing error codes, there is a possible issue on your end or with your ISP. I recommend checking the below links from Bungie for support.

Thinking that it might the ISP would make sense if I was the only one experiencing the issue. I checked it though, and internet is fine on my side. My fireteam members confirmed the same earlier and did the usual troubleshooting. So it's not making sense to us as to why it's happening.

We're a mix of 6 players from the European and African continents experiencing the same issue. We'll call it quits for now and try again later. Just wanted to see if anybody else was experiencing something similar.

Destiny 2 has been experiencing network issues ever since the drop of The Final Shape. It's affecting clients seemingly at random and resulting in extremely spotty connection to the game. It's not just you and your friends.

Stop spouting this tripe without context "Extra note: Destiny 2 is not played on any servers. It uses a hybird peer - peer network connection."

This is misleading and intentionally misrepresentation of the truth. If the game cannot authenticate to the servers within a time period ( which happens frequently for some depending on the traffic, and reliability of the servers responsible ) it will boot people with a generic network error blaming the user. This has been an issue with destiny 2 ever since launch. It has nothing to do with your connection to your fireteam.

What you say isn't technically incorrect, but you're intentionally sidestepping the truth.

Sometimes a simple restart of your platform and your networking device can clear up issues. I recommend you try this.

Yes, we all did that as part of 'troubleshooting'.

It wasn't just the Excision activity though. We also tried launching a Raid (RoN) and the GM as well, but eventually all got kicked out not long after. Hence my query here on Steam.
