Bungie Lay offs

So I been reading multiple sources that bungie got trimmed. That bungie is in a bad state due to management. So who got trimmed? Hard working devs or the bad management?

It's Joever boys. 10 years what a ride. They bit off more than they could chew trying to expand to all these other projects too soon.

As per the latest news article and social media posts, there will be no changes to Destiny 2's current content road map. Everything is business as normal for Destiny 2.

As for the staff who have sadly been let go, I hope they are all able to find another job soon. Everyone at Bungie is super talented regardless of who they are. Everyone has brought something special to Bungie and Destiny.

From what I've seen and heard, the hard-working devs. Most people are blaming the bungie CEO Pete Parsons who (among other dubious things) said in the post that they tried "everything" else but had to ultimately cut these people. People then found out Pete spent like 2.3 million dollars on classic cars in the past few years. So yeah, seems like they didn't try "everything."

Yes I read literally just now if pay cuts are in order to avoid lay offs. But Parson replied with "We aren't that kind of company." So looks like the CEO ran the studio into the ground.

A large number of music/sound and narrative designers. Doesn't look like bungie will be bringing much more story content into D2
