I refuse to play this game until they change my name back. They changed my name to a stupid generic name Guardian****, no no, I DON'T EVEN HAVE CROSS PLATFORM so why change my name. When I go to change my name back. LO-AND-BEHOLD, YOU CAN ONLY CHANGE YOUR BUNGIE NAME ONCE. Are you f**king kidding me, You changed MY name and YOU used the 1 name change I had to do it. Change my name back.

If your name was changed, it's because it violated Bungie's code of conduct which you agreed to. Once a name is banned, you cannot use it again. For Bungie's name policy, please visit the below link.

All players get 2 name changes, once these have been used up, you cannot change your name further. If you have no name changes left, then you're stuck with the current name.

Note: The message about cross-save is a default message you see when your name is changed by Bungie. Also, as stated in the Bungie Name guide, a forced name change could use up one of your name changes.

While you should probably ask this on Bungie's own forum, my advice: we actually have two name changes so you should have another.

- If you have NO name changes, then below the name box, it will say 'You have no name changes' or words to that effect, in red text. You will not be able to type anything in to the name box.

- If you do have a name change available, then you will be able to enter text into the name box. The issue is, if you pick a name that hits the filter somehow, then the name change won't go through, it just won't save. The 'one name change' text might then make you think that's why it won't change. But if you really didn't have a name change, it does make it obvious.

It's amazing that paid name changes haven't been implemented yet. Not only would it add to revenue, but it would appease the majority of players who have been requesting it for years.
