The story depending on whether you plan on basic difficulty or legend difficulty really varies the time it takes to finish.
2) What do you mean by things to buy in the store... everything that can be bought is cosmetic or is DLCs or Dungeon keys
3) Everything that is in Destiny has to be farmed basically, all weapons have different "rolls"... so different perks on weapons to suit your play style.
There is no all rounder build but most people go with high resilience as that makes you take less damage but in order to do that you will need to farm for gear.
I'm still pretty new but I have gotten the grasp of things (I think)
Legacy+Final Shape gives you everything but some dungeons, that Bungie, greedy as they are, have the nervs to sell seperatly. But there is enough conntent without it.
1, iirc its required to unlock the subclasses strand and prismatic (maybe beyond light not 100%) and a couple exotics are locked behind some sort of completion
2, yes, dungeon passes for both witch queen and lightfall which both include 2 dungoens, i think its 30$ per so 60$ total for 4 dungeons, this is the only way to buy this and it never goes on sale
3, you get some ok stuff from the new light tutorial stuff like risk runner which is a fine general exotic but it is a looter shooter so alot of stuff is in activities you gotta farm
That wasnt a Question.
yes and im pointing out why what you said is wrong, dont tell people one of the lowest player counts in the game ever was the most active lol just because you liked it doesn't mean it was actually good
You dont know what you are talking about. Block.
Mfw when you spread misinformation online
1. Dont buy the legacy collection. Every dlc is on sale on steam so buy them individually. Forsaken, Shadowkeep, beyond light, 30 anniversary, Witchqueen, lightfall and the finalshape. I would say that is not worth it for you right now to buy the deluxe pack for the final shape. just buy the base expasion. You will not raid anytime soon.
2. Destiny 2 is so overwhelming and you will be lost so try to enjoy the ride. I would not focus on skipping to "endgame" because to do this activities you will need gear and knowledge. There is a system called new light to help new players its kinda hidden. But on your menu you can find another system called guardian ranks. It will help you gain knowledge of game systems and activities. I think you can begin here. treat this as a tutorial. If you go at least to rank 6 you will have some all around knowledge about things.
3. After this I would recommend you to go to IKORA (NPC) and get one of the sets she gives you. It will be a regular build with okayish gear. It helps you a lot in the beggning. Its your new light set. I recently beat the final shape campaign on legendary difficulty starting it with one of the warlocks sets. You pick stronger gear on the way. its very challenging but is doable and very fun. If you like the challenge.
4. Now its time to pick a campaign. Beating one on legendary difficulty gives you a good set and an exotic piece of gear. I strongly reccomend you do this. Legendary campaigns is for me the most fun I have every expansion. Witch queen is amazing, Final shape is amazing. Beyond light is ok, but I think is a good point to start I guess.
5. I play this game on and off a while now and I never got to do a raid. I Know I dont play much but I think is important to you to know that it is a grind and its not a fast process to go to the endgame. It takes time. Dont buy the skip campaign option. You will need to do the content to learn.
well, I think you can have a great experience with this game if you enjoy the ride. Dont think only on getting to the endgame. The story is good, music is brilliant, amazing art direction. Enjoy the ride Guardian.
Dungeon keys are 2,000 silver in the Eververse store, that's like $20.00
dunno never been able to see them because i always have the deluxe, also different currency
Me too, but I have access to a F2P account I made for testing New Light etc.
