Blizzard/Activision Account Transfer

Hello all. I have been away from D2 since the expansion after Dreaming City. I am hoping that I can transfer my Blizzard/Activision account on to the Steam platform, as my account had essentially all Exotics & Pinnacle Weapons. Is it possible to transfer my older PC account, or am I expected to start D2 again with a clean slate? Needless to say, that is a LOT of progress to give up, so any information would be appreciated!

Thank you. In the current game is having all the exotics of that time, and pinnacle weapons like "not forgotten," even still relevant, or would having them be meaningless in the current game anyway?

You still can get all of exotics from that time, and some legendaries, but they have a a lot of good alternatives. The only thing you can't get is some cosmetics

All weapons are now viable as Sunsetting has been undone.
Having said that, as above, the deadline for Activision account transfers was four years ago, so you're a tad late!
