I got the legacy collection free on Epic Games last year should I install it and play it?
What would I be missing out on and would I be able to find people to play with

Is it worth it at this point? or too late to start this game?

I tried The First Descendant that came out and it's really bad so thinking of getting into Destiny 2 or Warframe.

DLC content does not transfer from platform to platform (and Steam and Epic are considered different platforms)

If you want to play the associated campaigns, dungeons, etc you'll have to play through epic, however you'll still retain your armor, weapons, unlocks etc on steam if you play there, just a heads up

And it's never too late imo

Yes. The only things restricted by platform is DLC access. If you own legacy stuff on EGS, then you can play it there. If you dont own it on steam, you can't play it there. If you own it on both, then you can play it on both.

The version that you received on Epic includes the Shadowkeep, Beyond Light and The Witch Queen expansions. You'd be missing Forsaken/30th Anniversary packs neither of which are essential for a new player testing the waters as well as the Lightfall and The Final Shape expansions. You'd also be missing Dungeon Keys and episodes but you'd have more than enough content to get a feeling for the game.

I picked up the legacy collection as well when it was free but it still shows a price tag of 60$ and I cant find it in my games-list. did they recently remove it??

Where did you get the legacy collection? Epic, or on Steam?

They're different platforms, so that "purchase" (even if free) does not transfer

I came back a week ago. Paused several Years. Lots of content and lots of players. But the Game doesnt explain ♥♥♥♥ and you will get overwehlmed with quests and mechanics.
Gameplay itself is pretty good.

Just for anyone wondering this same ♥♥♥♥ its UNEBLIEVABLY SIMPLE.
You got the free epic dlc ♥♥♥♥? You can only play those activites when you launch on epic. You can keep the weapons, just you need to have two installs or just run off epic if you want access.
