[Bug?] Transcendent Title Does Not Count Towards Guardian Rank

Last night I wrapped up grinding out the Transcendent title as I am pushing toward Guardian Rank 9. However, upon completion and claiming the title, I'm frustrated to learn that this did not contribute to the number of titles needed for the rank 9 requirements.

If I would have known this beforehand, I would not have invested all that time in completing the title.

How are we supposed to know which titles will work and which ones to avoid when pursuing guardian rank progression?

Is this a bug?

Bungie are aware of the issue and it will probably be fixed with the next weekly reset

If it's anything like Orimund's Taste, it could take years.

the have fixed a bunch of bugs with the title already. Weird they seemingly did zero testing on the title itself. Did you clear moth cyst in under 4 minutes? They changed it to 6 and stopped moths from respawning in the boss room, lol. When the expansion launched, ghost was giving the wrong shader and you could not get the title until the week before last. I am sure they will fix it. Still- just weird they seemed to do minimal testing.

Yes, I did moth cyst in under 4 minutes, literally the night before the patch came out that bumped it to 6 minutes. I ended up needing the help of one of my friends, but after a few tries we were able to do it. It's quite the challenge.

I currently got the Ghoul title from Ghosts of Deep, i claimed the title and I still cant claim guardian rank challenge.

No new player who doesn't have retired IB weapons can get Iron Lord. Haven't been able since 2022. It's "under investigation". Orimund's Taste only has 14 weapons that register for it, while it requires 15 to complete. It's on the seal.

So while they may fix things, other things they just don't care to fix. Even advertising IB for 2 whole weeks as this big thing, they didn't fix.

Lots of peeps stuck with 14/15 on Orimund's Taste still waiting, months on end.
