Starting campaigns
So as the tittle says im a returning player from 2020 and recently bought beyond the light and the witch queen thinking about getting lightfall and the final phase, but i just logged in and did some of the tutorial sequence bc i didnt rememeber too much of the game itself and after i finished i really dont understand how to start some of the dlc contents, i just did a sort of introductory quest " Cayde's fate" which was the last piece of content i played bf i abandoned it back in 2020 but cant do any more than that same for the subsequent pieces of dlc

The thing with Cayde's fate is called 'Timelines: Reflections', it was added in the last season and consists of three missions, one from Forsaken, one from Beyond Light and one from The Witch Queen, to get very new players up to speed on a few plot beats leading into The Final Shape. I think Ikora has a reward for you for finishing this, but you'll be playing the other two missions for real during their respective campaigns, otherwise the 'Timelines' is not a campaign or a replacement for a campaign in itself.

For Shadowkeep (the campaign is now free to play, the wider DLC pack is not, but I'd recommend starting here), Beyond Light and The Witch Queen, could you try checking the following,
- The Quest Archive at the Tower for any 'Legacy' questlines,
- The Moon, for a mission node called 'A Mysterious Disturbance' (Shadowkeep),
- Europa, for a mission called 'Darkness' Doorstep' (Beyond Light),
- The Throne World node, does anything happen when you select it? Can you land at the Throne World destination or just at The Enclave?

Check your quest archive in either the tower or the HELM. You should find the campaign quest item there which you can then follow to do the campaigns themselves.
