Catalyst farm: wth does this take so long?

Centrifuse and Dragon's Breath catalyst is such a chore to complete with so little progress, Hero NF does about like 4 points per run and I have already completed the pass for catalyst booster.

If 4 is for Hero NF what's ordinary Vanguard Op's?

From my testing, all nightfalls are 4, except for grandmasters, which are 6. I'm confident it used to be more in previous seasons but i don't have any numbers. Not worth focus grinding, especially since the catalysts aren't very good

Just grab bounties from zavala and run strikes. I was getting 4 points for each one. Few hours and you'll have that catalyst done.

WTF are you on? Dragon's Breath catalyst is rather huge, especially when you pair it with a solar subclass.

OP, regular vanguard ops strikes are also 4, the progression honestly doesn't take as much time as you think it will, since a fair number of times you'll get fast to complete battlegrounds, which will also count for 4 with the catalyst quest booster omega active.
