Looking to grind out for a gun in gambit i couldnt manage to get a good roll for last week.

Does Bungie have a schedule of when 2x Xp weeks are and are there still 3x Xp weeks?

There haven't been 3x weeks for a long time as the rep system for gambit has been reworked since then. There are rough schedules for bonus rep, but there should be an all rep bonus week toward the end of the season.
