Armor mod question

Returning player, ignorant to what's better, is running font mods for str, disc, int a good idea vs slotting other things?

FYI, the mods won't put me over 100s.
Are mods focusing on orbs better or load up on fonts?

I'm not doing end game/raids, just strikes with friends and regular onslaught and I want to maximize my ability uptime.

I've never really used font mods as they only increases your armor stats when you have armor charges, you lose those stats when your armor charges are depleted.

Using kickstart mods gives you X amount of energy back when you're using your ability while having any armor charges.

The more armor charges you have, the more energy you get back after using your ability.

Font mods are okay but most builds are made with the stats they want in mind so you usually don't need to worry about getting extra points from fonts once you have good armor in general. Better spent on kickstarts and surges imo.
