Hi all, new to this game, ive got a wish token and reading up online it says the best weapon to get would be the apex predator with the bait and switch perk, how do i get the perk? Cant find much info online, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

So the wish tokens allow you to get red borders

Thus you get five wish tokens, and use each one on getting a red border apex predator and claim the deepsight for crafting progress

Then after you get all five, you go to the enclave on mars and craft one

Boom all the things

Apex Predator can be crafted at the Enclave in Savathun's Throne World (technically this is on Mars, but listed as the throne world in the Director). You may need to complete the first mission in The Witch Queen campaign, which is available to everyone, to get access to this area.

You have a couple of options:
1. Farm Kalli in the Last Wish raid. This can only be done when the raid is in the pinnacle rotation. It is currently the pinnacle raid until tomorrow. You need five red border drops of craftable weapons to get the pattern to craft.
2. Use the Wish event that is still available to get five wishes from Mara Sov at the HELM and use them to get the pattern. Mara Sov has the option to get raid weapons when you talk to her at the HELM, but you need five of them. If you already used those wishes then your options are option 1 or 3.
3. Use the Wish Wall before the Kalli checkpoint to teleport to Shuro Chi to get the hidden chest. It has a chance of dropping any weapon minus the exotic from the raid and those weapons have the chance of being red bordered. There is another hidden chest prior to the Morgeth boss fight. Best to look at a youtube video to find where these chests are. This can only be done once per character per week regardless if the raid in pinnacle or not.

If you have any deepsight harmonizers from the season pass (it gives you three if you are F2P, six if you own the season pass for this season), you can use them on any Apex Predators that aren't red bordered to make them red bordered.

After crafting the Apex Predator, just level up the gun either by using it or using enhancement cores and glimmer to get it to the level that enhanced Bait and Switch unlocks in column 4.

The generally agreed god roll is Reconstruction and Bait and Switch.

if you don't craft it then its a random chance to get on the gun when you get the gun

all perk drops are random unless you can craft the weapon
