Star-crossed is probably one of the easiest exotic missions to do on Legend in my opinion.

Use fusion rifles, xeno or dragon's breath, might even try whisper with catalyst. Stuff like peregrind grieves makes these mobs overly easy targets, but i prefer killing them before approaching them - uses less time. The only problem with starcross is the random order of where to go first, and if you get the order wrong, you waste time. But other then that its fairly simple. if you have a good zoom on a weapon you can see the order on one of the floating pieces in air, before going down there.(in the second area) The only problem here is that some of your graphic settings could be obstructing your view, and destiny 2 has an insane love for using bloom effect, and adding 10000% white color + blur to everything.

Starcrossed is very much doable on Legend. The final boss might be a pain at the worst.
