There is the Gift of the Thunder Gods chest in the Hall of Champions that can easily get you to 1810 gear.
It really doesn't matter in the long run because most endgame activities restrict your maximum power to around 1815 and the season is going to end in 40 days.
Certain activities lock your light level, so if you meet the threshold, that's as high as you're going to go, however if you don't meet the threshold, then things will be harder (so I think mostly it locks it at 1800 light, so if you're 1824, you'll be playing that content as if you're 1800, to keep the difficulty even)
Master is 1840, locks at 1820 (20 delta)
Legend is 1830, locks at 1815 (15 delta)
GM is 1830, locks at 1805 (25 delta)
Lost sectors do NOT lock your light. If you level enough, master LS become legend.
