Direct x11 or 12?

Does Destiny 2 run on Direct x11 or 12, if it does run on 12? how do I get it to only run on Direct x11, Im using windows 11 and have a 3070ti laptop.

So how do I get my laptop gpu to switch from dx12 to 11 by default. Even though it automatically runs it but I want to it to stay that way for all my games.

You can't change that, it's on a per game basis.

It's a per game basis

Yes, your GPU says "DX12 gpu" because it supports DX12, it's not DX12 only

Some games have something in the video options to switch between DX11, DX12, or Vulkan (an offshoot of Dx11 that has performance benefits on lesser hardware)

But Destiny doesn't have that, it just runs the DX11 API and needs no input from the user

I don't see Bungie ever support to DX12 despite past comments.
