Graviton Lance catalyst

I've been trying for 100-200 hours of game time to get this catalyst to drop. Played many Crucible, Vanguard, and individual Strikes...still nothing. I think the ability for the Catalyst to drop might be broken. Any ideas? Has anyone seen it drop for yourselves, and if so, where?

I got my Graviton catalyst all the way back when faction rallies were still a thing, but if the Wiki is reliable at all, it's simply playing and killing things in Crucible or Strikes/Nightfalls for the best odds.

I didn't back the faction that gave it out back during the Rally, so I had to grind for it later, and yeah, it took ages to finally drop.

Older catalysts have much lower drop rates than we're used to seeing with the more recent ones and the old Faction Rally catalysts are possibly some of the lowest drop rates in the game.
