Best way to spend my legendary shards?

In my four years of daily play i've amassed just over 103k legendary shards? is there any way at all to spend them in bulk anymore?

Just hold onto them. Use them for Xur to grab godrolls for exotics and armors.

not really, legendary shards are getting taken out anyway, so just stock up on banners or or something

I spent 5 thousand shards on rally banners

Buy mats from rahool, or dump them at Eris/the table for phantasmal fragments

The removal of legendary shards is a part of a move away from hoarding/grinding resources. Whatever you spend them on, it won't matter, as things will only be getting easier to get, and there will be less ability to and less need to hoard in final shape

Holding onto them is the worst thing you can do. They're being removed in 2 months

With shards going away

Glimmer will become one of the most important currencies in the game and having Phantasmal Fragments in your Inventory is a great way to artificially hold more than the Glimmer cap.

- 1 Phantasmal Fragment – 10 Legendary Shards (From Moon / Lectern of Enchantment)

- 10 Phantasmal Fragments can be traded for 10,000 Glimmer (From Rahool)

- 10,000 Glimmer – 10 Legendary Shards (From Rahool)

- 10 Raid Banners – 30 Legendary Shards (From Hawthorne)

- Material exchange: Enhancement Cores, Ascendant Alloys, Ascendant Shards, Prisms (From Rahool)

- Sometimes Banshee-44, the Gunsmith, will sell a weapon that is Masterworked to Tier 5 or higher. When this happens, buy as many as you can and dismantle them. (From Banshee-44)
