My PC freezes completely when i play Destiny 2

I have this problem since a month ago, when i install the game i can play without any problem, but when i start the game for second time after a couple of minutes the PC freezes completely and the only solution is force it to shut down.

I tried to check the hardware with stress tests, checking the RAM and the hard drives, also i tried perform a clean format and reinstall with only these games.

Any help is appreciated.

dose the freeze happen on other more demanding games.. for example cyberpunk or metro exedus?

only happen in Warzone, Arena Breakout Infinite and Destiny

sounds like it might be a component being stressed to much. do you have another gpu to test.

then unistall your gpu remove it and install the other gpu to test and see if problem still happens.

This used to happen to me on Win 10. It turned out that Avast had a pending update that required a manual prompt. Once I got that done, the rock solid Destiny 2 crashes completely went away - until it happened again one day, I checked Avast and it was the same thing, so an easy fix.

anti viurs software....that ♥♥♥♥ causes problems with everything. get rid of it. all you need is windows defender.

I recently had problems when the desktop resolution didn't match the in-game resolution, when using a second monitor. The game kept tearing and also freezing.

maybe in win 10 settings for privacy toggle off overlay windows bc that S starts up with Destiny 2 causing some ruckus

maybe it's the store app overlay popping up ?
