chat censorship

how do i turn this off? and why is it censoring normal words like "believe" instead of things it should be censoring?

You can't. There is a setting that is suppose to turn it off but it doesnt work.

The sensitive chat filters are a bit too much, i agree... It gets annoying when you try to join someone through discord but can't because the chat filters censors a part of the name of the player that you try to join, "Luke Smith" is also censored btw

You can turn off the censor by visiting the settings page. Please be aware that Bungie still has the right to censor the chat to prevent malicious content from appearing.

Yeah, misused. I literally said "I can't jump over this big hole", cause there was a big hole in one mission I kept falling into. Lol.

No, mine is off, and it still censors everything. One time it even censored the word "BARRIER" when talking about barrier champions with my friend. ???
