It's convenient on paper, but it needs some refinement. All it takes is one or two bugged objectives(like what is currently going on with the Deposit Motes Gambit objective) or a Crucible objective(which nobody plays) to stall the player. Some of the objectives just take too long relative to the reward they give. Personally I think they should add world activities to the mix, like the Blind Well, Altar of Sorrows and maybe Public Events as a fifth category of objective, along with Vanguard, Crucible, Gambit and General.

It's literally not the same word, nor does it mean the same thing.

So again I ask : why would Incandescent count as Ignition ? The words don't even mean the same thing. Why would OP think just shooting things with "Incandescent" count towards a goal asking him for "Ignition" kills ?

You need 100 scorch stacks for something to ignite. You're shooting at them with a gun. You'll probably kill them with bullets before the ignition occurs. Thus Incandescent guns is hardly a good strategy to cause ignitions.

I hate pathfinder because it forces people into the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pvp modes. There hasnt been a way to finish it without doing crucible or gambit, sometimes both.

Not if all you're shooting at are red bars.

If you want to ignite stuff, look to your spec. Titan Consecrate comes to mind.

Every gambit Match, I'm 50-60 mob kills, maybe 1 guardian ?

So it's 99% PvE. And the winning goal is killing mobs. Envoys, Primevils and tons of mobs that drop motes. Killing guardians doesn't win the game.

I'm not a fan of Pathfinder as it stands right now. If Bungie tweaks it so that PvP elements aren't forced upon PvE players, then maybe.

Ngl i've had a few bugs with pathfinder i.e. Gambit motes deposited (/100) taking over like 2000 motes to complete the challenge for some reason - took me a whole week lmao. Besides the bugs I think the pathfinder is pretty cool since it goes across all your characters :)

It's a known bug. They will probably fix it for the next maintenance.

A lot of them have an unwritten part like heavy ammo: have to be the first person to loot the heavy ammo spawn for credit. It's pretty bleah design.
