There were actual Forges we had an activity based around quite a few years ago, but The Witness/Bungie got rid of them.

If you want to get semantical you said, "actual forges" which is impossible in a simulated reality because actual forges only exist in the real world.

They're called Forges ingame, because they're where Black Armory weapons were created, or to be specific, FORGED.
