Timing
Most of us lack a friend who's amazing at the game. I suggest you watch IFrostBolt and Zkmushroom. They are entertaining and very good at the game. While it's not as good as first-hand feedback, you can analyze their actions. Why? When? How?
To better develop an eye for these things IFrostbolt made several videos to teach PVP. (As well as many other people). Some are him coaching someone directly, and others are videos of him describing his actions and thought process.
Hope that helps. The process is much slower compared to being coached directly but with time, effort, and reflection you can progress.
I don't go into details because I feel like watching coaching videos will do you justice better than reading a text. Visual cues are easier to understand.
