It's the weapon patterns that matter to get now, which are easy to obtain if you get a ton of engrams and unlock the one red border guarantee per week. (Eremite, Scatter Signal, Raconeteur, etc.) Otherwise, you'll have to unlock them later like the Exotic Mission Rotator.

The seasons also give you lots of activities to do in the meantime and more ways to get to the pinnacle cap, so they will help you get ready for Final Shape.

No, the dungeon keys for Witch Queen for example are 2000 silver, the only way to get Witch Queen dungeon key is in the Eververse store, for 2000 silver/$20.00

Once the Final Shape launches, Lightfall dungeon keys will also be only available from Eververse for 2000 silver.

Currently there are NO sales for dungeon keys. May change someday but for now they are all effectively 20 USD

Exactly, you pay the $20.00 now and get more than the dungeons or pay $20.00 later for just the dungeons. Once again, if the seasonal content and dungeons are not something you are interested in, the extra $20.00 is a waste of money.

Pssst, quick tip, try to see if you can buy Lightfall (deluxe or not) CD keys online from trusted vendors, you'll usually end up paying much less. I got the deluxe edition for 20 euros myself.
