Considering it has already been done solo flawless, by a titan, I don't think it's that far fetched.
Except that eso is insane and has played the game since it's inception, has everything you can think of in the game. Other people have uploaded with videos with 1 second left, sure flawless, but it's still just plain luck at times because 1 more shot would have ended the run. (Still great job tho)
Point is, eso is no regular titan player. He is the destiny player.
eso also lucked out on the heavy ammo switch and pickups, it didn't empty his mag. I've had several runs and i am never getting any heavy ammo. Not once in entire boss fight. even having heavy ammo finder and scavenger equipped.
The cleaner idea, which he did on warlock run, was going in with dragons breath stacked to max. That gives you 12 rockets, 3 for the two tanks, 1+2 for the second (this works every time it seems if u have some solar stacks/rapid hit going for buff). Then super for mini boss and boss damage.
A build that could buff deconstruct would be kind of interesting, havent seen any put a kink in that yet. Dont have a lot of guns that can roll that perk, and dont think i ever used it before, the perk i mean, but surely there should be some gun that should be able to take good advantage of that. Since boss becomes a vehicle, at least it looks that way, but not sure if it counts that way technically yet. But full refund of ammo against boss sounds really great on paper at least. Which can be handy if you just dont get heavy ammo.
Also, what other things would potentially buff deconstruct? Because that could be more interesting in final shape. Idk.
The main problem with the whole thing, zero hour, is the damned fire puzzle, because it is on rotation, so every day, you have to figure out the puzzle again. This doesn't add any difficulty, it's just plain annoying. It's as good as sign as any that it's time for the game to come to an end when they couldn't even fix that.
IIRC #1 back in the day, they changed the rotation after a while, so it became the same path every time, and i wish they would just return to that already, infact, just going straight over would be great =)
IIRC #2 there used to be a sniper cheese where you were unhittable all the way back, but not sure that would work now with the boss now doing aerial bombardment.
Just make sure you don't spend any real money on this game. The devs and studio don't deserve a dime of it.
I had 4.20 aprx. minutes to spare in a CNH run - with no sword skating or cheeses, solo. No deaths, skipped all enemies possible, in vents, in cubicle, in outside area. Just not enough time. Perfect trevor route. Killed both tanks within 5seconds.
Could save maybe another 2 minutes on some places, but it still wouldnt be enough for comfort.
You can one hundred percent solo a ton of endgame stuff, with the rare exceptions being the majority of raids, and given that there is often a triumph to do it solo, yes, D2 is mostly designed to be soloed. Only raids are solo-proof, and even then there are exceptions.
But you have to rush thru. That hasn't changed from last time either. The only exception is that in the "main" encounters you have to kill all enemies before you can proceed, but after the killing the fallen in the hallways after the first tank, and unto jumping part, you can skip enemies, in cubicle, vents, etc, till you get to boss.
I just realized i didn't have spike grenades for my mountain top, and i have a triple 100 stompees build that should save a bit of time. Also bait and switch should help a lot for damage. Turns out there is a second page column of perks on crafting, didnt know that either :D
The main problem in solo in boss room is the servitors there, they can just eat dragon's breath all day, i dont understand why outside of different shields.
Meanwhile 1 DR against a tank and its dead. Im curious about bringing in a certain void exotic bow and see how the servitors feel about that.
Optimize everything you can, and even if you dont make it solo or so, you will at least do new stuff in the game you maybe wouldnt have done otherwise. That's what's fun for me anyway.
