do you get the first season of the dlc for free if you buy final shape?

or do i need to pay an additional 15 for the season pass when it comes out? No i do not want to buy the annual pass.

Pre-purchasing (and I assume later buying) the Final Shape Standard Edition will give you the first Episode yes (Episodes being the new thing they're switching over to now, instead of Seasons).

"The Standard edition of The Final Shape includes the new story campaign, three new Supers, a new destination, new weapons and armor to collect, and the first Episode in the year of The Final Shape."

Prior to Final Shape they were Seasons, but it seems Bungie has decided that from Final Shape onwards, instead of 4 3-month Seasons that "you had to be there" for, instead they're gonna make 3 longer-lasting Episodes instead that you can still participate in just fine even if you join in the middle of things.
