Edit: I use a 6950 XT and a 5900x. I play on 1440p. Max settings.
Now that being said, your CPU should be more than enough to at least maintain 60fps.
What kind of utilisation do you see when playing the game during intense moments? If you're seeing low usage there, then it would be cause for concern perhaps relating to GPU frame draw calls which you yourself will not be able to fix and is quite common with Intels 'new' foray into dedicated GPUs.
Intel arc 770 at 1440 max should get 1% of 70~
You're stuck with the fps until Intel releases better drivers for it. It's not a matter of hardware, but rather their drivers are so poor for D11 games that you might as well be using a server rack GPU.
The tread is about intel A770, not general performance.
I can also rule out bad install of drivers, this is a clean copy of windows, clean ssd, and clean driver install. This is definitely a driver issue for now. But the CPU does appear to be causing some issues. Other benchmarks made with very similar systems but with a Ryzen 5 7600x were having decently better performance with 20+ more FPS on the same settings in the same areas.
You have an high end system. OP does not far from it. I get better performance then you on my mid entry PC (currently considered almost entry due to the dating gpu and CPU.
What about different drivers? I dont know how intel addresses theyr drivers but CPU should not be bottlenecked.
Honestly on DX 12 Intel Arc runs pretty darn good.
Its mostly dx 11 and before.
Ive been using NVIDIA for many years, just decided to switch it up. On DX12 games like GamingWithSilvertail said it runs very good. In most DX12 games it runs far better than my 3060 except for Ray tracing.
