Any other intel A770 users? Getting some very poor performance
So im fairly certain its my CPU bottle necking my fps alongside some meh drivers. I'm running a Ryzen 7-3700x with rebar turned on. Is there any other ARC users that are having issues?

You're stuck with the fps until Intel releases better drivers for it. It's not a matter of hardware, but rather their drivers are so poor for D11 games that you might as well be using a server rack GPU.

Depends. What is your framerates looking like? I don't use an intel GPU but I get around 200 fps in some areas but when it comes to getting into fights and most areas, I go from 150 frames to about 80 at times.

Edit: I use a 6950 XT and a 5900x. I play on 1440p. Max settings.

Funny enough my settings are barely affecting performance. Running 1440p medium I get around 130-140 but drop to 40-55 in the Tower or enemy rich environments. Even when I crank it to ultra it stays the around same with a 4-10 average fps drop. I even dropped the power of my card to 140w and it still around the same.

Why are you comparing a 6950 xt to a intel a770? That isnt even a relevant comment.

Destiny 2 is mostly about your CPU, and not your GPU as you have now learned for yourself by tweaking with the graphical settings and power settings for your hardware.

Now that being said, your CPU should be more than enough to at least maintain 60fps.

What kind of utilisation do you see when playing the game during intense moments? If you're seeing low usage there, then it would be cause for concern perhaps relating to GPU frame draw calls which you yourself will not be able to fix and is quite common with Intels 'new' foray into dedicated GPUs.

Yeah, and you have no idea what you're talking about. First off you need more info from OP. Your game is perfectly playable.

Intel arc 770 at 1440 max should get 1% of 70~

It's the fact you are trying to start arguments over me simply just stating that performace on PC overall is bad on this game. Blocked and moved on.

The tread is about intel A770, not general performance.

I can also rule out bad install of drivers, this is a clean copy of windows, clean ssd, and clean driver install. This is definitely a driver issue for now. But the CPU does appear to be causing some issues. Other benchmarks made with very similar systems but with a Ryzen 5 7600x were having decently better performance with 20+ more FPS on the same settings in the same areas.

No, I am telling you that your setup probally has an entirely different problem then OP has and you should not see your complaint as the same complaint.

You have an high end system. OP does not far from it. I get better performance then you on my mid entry PC (currently considered almost entry due to the dating gpu and CPU.

What about different drivers? I dont know how intel addresses theyr drivers but CPU should not be bottlenecked.

kinda on you op for buying an intel gpu...

In my understanding, Intel hasn't optimized the cards drivers for Destiny 2's game engine. I've been having these exact problems for the past few months and I've just learned to live with them.

Honestly on DX 12 Intel Arc runs pretty darn good.

Its mostly dx 11 and before.

Ive been using NVIDIA for many years, just decided to switch it up. On DX12 games like GamingWithSilvertail said it runs very good. In most DX12 games it runs far better than my 3060 except for Ray tracing.
