Warlock DLC exotic hot garbage

Got on today to check the feeds and was excited to see previews for some new exotic armor pieces, but was immediately hit by sorrow upon checking out the warlock chest piece. Literally every comment reflected the same opinion, it's going straight in the vault. I can't fathom why they would give the other classes unique exotics with game changing effects and think the warlocks would be excited for a new way to suspend at the cost of all your melee charges.

if it suspends on a single hit instead of 3 it will be really strong in pvp

I can almost guarantee that it won't, at best probably 2 melee's minimum, and at that point your target would already be missing 3/4 their health. In pve it's even more redundant as warlock already has easy suspend options.

I mean, wait till we see the text - it could give melee refund on a suspend kill or something.

It's a suspend DETONATION. It suspends a ton of ♥♥♥♥ in the video, similar to the buff from eating your grenade that causes suspension detonation on final blows. Means you can free up an aspect slot, or use Grapple instead of Shackle Grenade.

Or you could just use Weavers Trance or The Wanderer and not use up your exotic slot on something that most likely uses up all 3 melee charges

Honestly I suspect the Titan Exotic will either be broken OP at launch, then disabled, nerfed to the ground, and never touched again, OR it'll START in that post-nerfed state at launch. I see no middleground.

and then they gave us that part for the exotic class item.....
