>I want to wear Astrocyte Verse for its appearance, but it is designed around Blink, one of, if not the worst ability in the entire game
I feel targeted.
even if they wanted to play the "because pvp" card, just don't allow the transmog in pvp then bungie, easy done
Not good reasoning. I've played with Blink for weeks with and without that Exotic helmet and that is all you need to to understand its awful. Me only playing for months means nothing, that reasoning is Appeal to Age logical Falacy, where it is unreasonably assumed that greater age or time invested means it is automatically correct.
Even the most basic platforming is severely stunted with Blink and some jumping/platforming sections are literally impossible. It'd be so easy to improve blink if it worked by orientation rather than momentum, so you teleported to where you were looking rather than the direction you were moving in. The second Blink is largely if not entirely useless. Its use in PVP is its only viable use and is a novelty. Switching to it for encounters is extremely risky in-case you need to actually jump and get to platforms.
You are wrong.
Though I get why people want a transmog system and wouldn't be against it at all if it were put in the game, it's just never bothered me.
in d4 theres transmog, everyone looks awesome but nobody really stands out. its not like d2 where you'd see some crazy thing and wonder "wtf is that" learn, and know to recognize it, etc.
