Cyst: Ariel Ace - Not Working

Im trying to get my last encrypted Bit, and every time i have Ariel Ace selected as the active Cyst it never clears the path i need to collect it. Is there a reason for this? Or is this quest area bugged?

Ive tried doing it as smothering darkness and then switching it back and it still does nothing.

Hey guys. I was stuck too. The bird is actually in the impasse on the platform of the entrance to transgression. It’s on the corner of the platform.
