If I remember correctly, they didn't show up until after I already hit the Transcend button after standing in the flicker.

NVM i found out you have to activate transcendence by hitting the sprint and crouch sticks. The prompts dident show because id already progressed to that point is normal difficulty before i switched to legendary. (to which i dident get an exotic)
