Final Shape Campaign Mission not able to do solo?

Hello,

I am currently trying to do a campaign mission which automatically puts me into matchmaking and I can't do it solo apparently. Everyone I meet is just rushing through the dungeon/strike/nightfall or whatever its going to be later. Is there any way to do it solo? I don't wanna rush but the online matchmaking makes me teleport to a player after some time if he is too far away.

It's a strike so unfortunately no. The story version of the strike should force the entire fireteam to stop at points to get the story bits at least.

ah that is too bad. At least the first time I wanna take my time and maybe even look at a scenery for a short second. But people just don't even fight monsters and run through them which imo is okay if you farm the strike a 100th time but the first time I kinda wanna play it as intended.

I have seen a video of some one doing it solo. Not sure how you accomplish that however. The mission is very hectic. Would be real hard solo.

yea couldn't figure out how to do it solo. I left like 6 matches until a group didn't rush completely. Kinda sad that either people rush nor do I have the ability to play it solo.

Unfortunately, the strike that you do as part of the campaign is bugged. If every one doesn't move fast enough all the enemies despawn. So that's why you see people rushing, if you can make it to the first group of enemies, generally the strike won't bug out. I had to restart the strike 3 times though before I got one that worked - and yes we were all running like crazy.

What's the strike? Only missions so far are simply to find a ghost at the end. I favor the experience to just get to that point because the end result is all everyone is after. Just get the ghost. Go to the next thing. So what if they rush through. Speeds up the overall goal of getting through the campaign. Don't like that approach? Put together a team using the Fireteam finder and indicate in the text field "I don't want to rush" and others will hopefully join with the same interest. Or use a clan to do the same and communicate what you want out of the experience so you get what you're after.

You can do strikes and other matchmaking stuff solo, by using your firewall to block certain stuff.

That app is the fastest way to do it, but you will have a short delay. The game will try to matchmake a group for you, but fails after around a minute. So you get in solo. Works for all content, except Gambit and PvP (would defeat the point of these gamemodes)
