Heads up about Exotic Kavastov Quest

When gathering the Motes of Light, get the ones from overthrow first before getting the others. If you already have the ones from the visions, then Grind the Bloom, and Impass first as both have bosses that can have the mote spawn in a wall . The reason to grind these first is because if the last mote you get spawns in a wall, it will turn exotic and will take all of your motes with it.

Currently 2 bosses do this, Tormentor and Meatball. If this happens before the exotic, just keep grinding it until it drops,

If the last boss does end up being the meatball, kill it slowly and hopefully the mote will bounce off the wall as opposed to glitching into it. If it does glitch into the wall, try walking around the inside of the wall in the cave and you might grab it through the wall.

I lost 15hrs of work because I did not know this, don't make the same mistake I did.

same here. my buddy and me just killed the meatball then noticed our Motes are gone. We didn´t notice they turned into something else so we tried to restart the game, thought of some bug ect. so basically our work is gone and we gotta wait for a fix i guess.

i lost all my motes i was on 16 and then meatball boss then all motes had gone and nothing after beating it. i cant get them back or anything now so its really taking the piss atm.

the fix should be fairly simple. Just give the exotic mote to all players with the all bosses triumph and the all traveller's collectibles triumph. Hopefully we will see it next week, but knowing bungie, it probably won't be for months

they fixed the bug . by removing the boss . the boss isnt spawning . did the overthrow 3 times in a row

i can confrim the meatball isnt spawning . did overthrow 4 times in the blooming without leaving the area .

i see i didnt get my motes back or the engram or anything. spent all that time getting the motes and then the game makes you lose them all before getting the engram and when they fix the problem they dont do anything to remedy the loss. am i xxxx doing that grind again on another character. they should have sent us motes in the post master or the engram for the inconvenience
