FINAL SHAPE ENDING

I get the ENDING had to be a raid but for some people (me included) that have no friends that play the game or a fireteam feels like getting punched in the gut, like the dlc is great but having to do a raid just killed the entire dlc for me (and for people that will suggest lfg, is aint doing the end of the game with people that most of the time won't even use the mic or will leave because they dies 3 times)

That's why the ending will not be in the raid, but in a mission that will be available to everyone after the completion of the world first race. Will it appear immediately after that or after some time - it is not known yet. You won't have to do raid.

There will be another mission that will unlock once the raid gets cleared.
I'd expect the story to wrap up in that mission.

It is not locked behind a raid as others have mentioned but the access of the mission will be locked until a world first kill.

Remember the story is still going to continue.

There are "Episodes" now instead of "Seasons," and each Episode will have 3 Acts. So even if you completed the Campaign so far, that is only Act 1, and it still isn't finished. The raid completion will add more content for non-raid players. We still have 2 more acts that will release for this Episode. The next will be in about 6 weeks, and Act 3 will be 6 weeks later. Each Act will have its own stuff that adds to the story.

The 2nd Episode is called Revenant. It will have 3 acts, each releasing 6 weeks apart.

The 3rd Episode is called Heresy. It will be 3 acts, each releasing 6 weeks apart.

The moment the raid is cleared there will be a cutscene forced out to all guardians that shows how it ended, just like with Lightfall raid/story finale. You'll be able to see how it ends by this evening.

Don't worry, you don't need to do the raid, you can watch it and feel like you're there, and then after it's cleared, you get yourself a little mission to finish the campaign :) I love how they do it. You'll get closure tonight.

Want to see the ending cinematic, just watch it on Youtube. It will be posted everywhere. I knew the witness was going to be a Raid boss, even before this expansion was teased. I'm just glad I quit this game and never looked back. Bungie of old left soon as they sold Halo to MS and then got owned by Activision. RIP Bungie.

SAME only cleared the nezarec one with a guy i met on a discord and then never done another one
