Final Shape worth buying?

I am very casual I am probably just going to finish the story on normal then legendary if I can. Other than that I will do some strikes or dungeons.

They are probably not going to add a legendary weapon that will make me put down my minigun so I don't really care about new yellows. I already have the cosmetics I want so I don't care about those. I sadly do not have time to raid these days so I can't do those.

I loved the Witch Queen expansion and I had all the same limitations then. In your opinion The Final Shape worth it just for the story missions and strikes?

They have a healing auto rifle now so you can use that if you want to keep the sweet business. So far been very much enjoying the campaign. Maybe wait a bit though until the bugs are a bit more fixed so it doesn't keep giving error codes or crashing.

look, if u play destiny just for story mode dont play it, there are better games....i play destiny to grind for something always so its worth for me

The campaign story was disappointing to me, and so was the encounter design.

However, the post-game content is plentiful and quite decent.

Hey! Any of you been playing destiny since the Red War and/or Forsaken? How does the amount & quality of new content compare to those? (I just use those expansions as a reference since those were the ones that kept me playing this game, at least till the vault introduction)
I'm just wondering, whether it is actually worth jumping back into the game after so many years, especially since the last expansion I've bought was beyond light and buying the new expansion is currently beyond my financial reach...

foresaken was the very best, followed by witch queen, its too early to tell how good final shape is but the story was by far the easiest to follow and most character driven yet, as far as content goes this has a foot in every door of the game, its more of a cherry on top over everything before it. I enjoyed it but would say wait for a sale.
