The Final Shape + Annual Pass Edition ($100) is not providing access to the campaign.
As of right now, June 6th, I cannot access the campaign for TFS. When in game, the access is barred and prompts me to rebuy the final shape, yet when redirected to the page, the game just tells me that I already own the $100 edition and cannot buy the game.

Before anyone says anything, I KNOW THAT THIS IS A SUPPORT ISSUE. However, Bungie support says do not attempt to buy anything and is not responding due to the many other issues. Additionally, when asking about missing DLC or content in game, Steam asks us to contact Bungie,

I am making this thread to try and grab more attention to the issue and get more people's accounts on the situation if they have the same issue.

I believe the issue is that on the morning of the DLC release, something went wrong with the servers, and when you bought the complete bundle you were NOT credited with the base DLC on Steam, which means the game will show you owning the season pass and DLC in game, but Steam has not provided the DLC key as shown by the fact that some people do not own the "base" DLC without the annual pass on here. You can check this by looking at your DLC in the library, and comparing it to something like the Lightfall annual pass if you own that.

If you own that Lightfall bundle, it will show that you own, D2 Lightfall, D2 Lightfall + Annual Pass, and the D2 Lightfall + Annual Pass Upgrade. Here, Steam tells me that I own D2 TFS + Annual Pass, and D2 TFS + Annual Pass upgrade. Steam has provided the wrong DLC and we cannot do anything without this issue. This is not an issue everyone is facing however. Not sure where to go from here, but hopefully this will get someone's attention.

UPDATE: Steam has still given me the same bot-like response but have finally given me something new; They told me to contact Bungie support. I finally was able to find a support page that’s useful (i.e. not about how to buy silver) and submitted a request with proof of the issue there. I haven’t heard back yet as I did it around an hour ago but if something changes then I’ll update again.

Hi i am having the same problem in a way Was able to play the first mission of the DLC went to play the next mission and i get a message saying i don't own it Also get the same message when i go to access the new subclass which is unlocked after the first mission At a loss on how to sort this out I have checked that i do own the DLC and payment was all good

Can you check which DLC you owned? Is it the one with upgrade in the title or the base game or the $99 listing with all the DLC? Trying to get an idea of what people are buying and having issues with so that we can tell Steam. Thanks!

I'm also experiencing this, got it same time as all my mates but I can't play it whilst they've all smashed it! So frustrating!

In my DLC list I've got D2 TFS + Annual Pass, D2 TFS + Annual Pass Upgrade and also the emote and exotic weapon.

But then on my character screen to unlock prismatic, or to start the quest line from the new starting zone it prompts me to buy it again! No way!

Hope this issue gets through to someone since Steam say go to Bungie Support and Bungie say go to Steam support! Grr!

same problem.....with the bundle with annual pass
I’m currently pushing this as far as I can with Steam support to make them recognize this issue.

there is "The final shape + annual pass", and there is "The final shape + annual pass upgrade" (or something along those lines)

The one listed as "Upgrade" does not give you access to the expansion or content, for some reason. Try to get a refund from steam for misleading advertising or something if you can.

I think a lot of people solved that issue already. The issue now is if you buy the $100 TFS + Annual Pass listing on Steam, you STILL are stuck without TFS.

As of Saturday June 8th Steam closed my request insisting I bought the wrong edition and refusing to look at any of the evidence I submitted of other people having the same issue with the DLC.

This is an issue for me as well, and all from both sides have pointed to "It couldn't possibly be on us, it's clearly the other guy". Steam refund refused, and Bungie just refuses to help, feels good. Also, I did not purchase the $100 bundle. So there's that.

I bought the $100 edition on release through a code via GMG, and it is playable fine.

In my Steam it shows me owning:
Destiny 2: The Final Shape
Destiny 2: The Final Shape + Annual Pass

Unlike the OP, The Destiny 2: The Final Shape + Annual Pass Upgrade entry is NOT owned.
I just bought the "base" game DLC right now to test and see if this is an issue, and it looks like buying it fixed the issue. So it definitely is an issue with the game not crediting the right thing to the account after buying it.

Yeah I just tested it and the issue is definitely with Steam's distribution

How can they say you brought the wrong edition when you literally do not have access to the campaign, which is available in EVERY purchase of the final shape regardless of edition purchased. Do they hire bots or something?
