Exploring Traveler destination restricted for f2p players, why?

well it just came out and it's a finale destination for dedicated fans.

The Pale Heart is built differently apparently because in order to patrol it without accepting missions, you have to finish the campaign to unlock the destinations full "potential*".

*Unlocking all the activities on the pale heart.

Also worth to mention it's not a "public" patrol zone like the other destinations. So you're on your own unless you ask friends/clan members or use LFG to patrol it together.

Kinda shame though, I liked meeting with other random guardians while minding my own business in patrol zones.

I wondered that myself at first but now that I have a good few hours put in I totally get it. The activities in the Pale Heart totally would not work if it was an open public area unless they made every enemy a bullet sponge, which then in turn would mean no one would want to hang out in the patrol zone. This was the problem with Terminal Overload and Vex Strike Force. Both were fun...if you had enough people, but you rarely do because nobody likes wave after wave of tanky as hell mobs in a public event.

Right now no, because everyone is bussy with TFS...

But during LF term overload was perfectly doable and there where alwqays people doing it. You might have to zone out and back in but there is usualyl a group doing it just like people where doing EP during Forsaken still.

The fact is that only the guardian who paid for the DLC is the guardian.
F2P players or those like me who have not purchased TFS yet can only be regarded as Bungie’s lambs to be slaughtered and cannot be called guardians.

Destiny shouldn't go F2P in a first place. It would be better if they make all of pre TFS or WQ content free and make the game price around 20-25$
