Can't continue Legendary

got booted to orbit right after, 'the ascent' now the only option i have is to start the next quest 'the message, part 1' and it only lets me launch in normal difficulty. no flag. no option after i select launch or hover over normal. nothing. i even tried replaying 'the ascent' to see if it would go along but nope. nothing.

do a groupfinder for the quest on legend difficulty then start it, happened to me as well

I keep repeating that servers are not going to be stable for a week, this has happened in the past before, you just got to be patient, they will fix the issue, it's not going to be stable for this week, maybe next week.

the missions are lost sectors, they don't count as legendary missions. Same with the strike mission afterwards

thanks for the clarification. didnt wanna progress my campaign progress only to have to redo it on legend.
