FInal Shape Install Issue

For the 30GB update it downloads fine, I have the disk space require, all catches have been cleared, drivers are good, but steam literally stops the install at 97% done this three times over the last 2 hours trying to preload the game. Anyone else?

Give it a little time possibly. It has to install it after downloading it.

Restart the computer, move the game to another drive or uninstall the game and clear all cache files in Steam folder and make sure Destiny 2 folder is fully deleted and reinstall the game.

Also you can leave it and stop the download and start it up and it will fix it self.

The problem is the installation itself not the download, just weird that it sits there and doesn't go all the way through after installing 97% of a game

Some downloads require free space on a hard drive equal to the games total file size. If the install is hanging up at a certain percentage, try uninstalling something about the size of the remaining 97% or better yet sure you have ample hard drive space all together. I was having this issue a couple of weeks ago while trying to update a game. I just uninstalled a random game that gave the enough space to download the update and it worked. I hope this is easy to read and digest and hope you get the update in before the game goes live.

verify ur game files. could be that you didnt recieve all the files

i dont see the update files ? but some of my friend already in game
