Did you get the Final Shape theme too? It was just a silent screen for me.
So excited for it though :)

Comparing Destiny to a movie franchise is kinda weird, I would say it's more this generations Halo considering its from the same company and their both sci fi future FPS games.

You can still launch the game and see the title screen after update. You just won't be able to get past the title screen - not even to char selection.

You mean "space opera". And it's hardly an opera. Destiny lore is 98% reading, flowcharts, puzzle solving, investigation, correlation, drawing lines on a whiteboard, Watching lore video to cross-reference, uhm. diagrams, spreadsheets.... Did I forget anything?

You never get any "opera" in Destiny. You work harder to understand the "opera" at a basic level than you do learning astrophysics.

There's a song on the title screen for The Final Shape, along with others, that doesn't appear on the 38 track OST. I can't find it anywhere on YouTube, but it is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard in this franchise. It is a choral piece, very sad and somber sounding. There are 3 or 4 that I have heard while sitting and listening for a couple hours. It seems to be the longest of the choral music pieces. Is there somewhere I can go for full music credits and get the title? I'm so stoked for tomorrow btw!
