How to Level Up a Weapon?

I went to buy a new weapon, but all weapons are 1600, making them completely useless. How do I level up a weapon?

You inspect the weapon you want to level up.

You hover over the black and yellow bit on the bottom left of the UI that says infusion.

You go to the weapon you want to use as infusion material.

You then press whatever key you need to for the prompt

And now the weapon you want has the power level of the other weapon, and the second weapon is consumed in the process.
