Pretty moronic when you know game will be 155 GB after new exp.
This stuff of starting missions on log-in, was started because people would flood the forums with "how do I start the seasonal story" because they couldn't follow basic prompts that say "hey! welcome to the new season! to start, please go here" (they would just press "continue" through the prompts that open up at the start of each weekly rotation)
So to fix it, Bungie just said "fine, we'll throw you into the first mission of the current season/event and there ya go, get your artifact and have fun"
And apparently now that confuses people as well soooooo
Nobody wins
You always start in a ship. The main hub is your view of the galaxy. You get to choose what missions or campaign to follow from the quest menu. Each planet will have a map with multiple locations that you can fast travel to as well.
To get started just make sure you select the mission you want to do and go to it. You can switch between different campaigns and progress will be saved on a checkpoint or mission start.
How on earth does it manage to stay at the top? Someone please explain
What even is happening how did i go from trying to get my hands on a ship assisting giants on neptune to going back to earth to get a ship to now helping some wizards cast a high level spell. Who the ♥♥♥♥ is everyone, where is everyone, what is the meaning of life.
Yes.
It is what you make of it. You are playing the game, don't let the game play you.
Especially if you havent log on for a while the mission playlist must have changed to the current season or a different campaign. You just need to switch to the one you was doing.
For me this game is basically a Halo 3 MMO, the gunplay and campaigns are satisfying and epic. Dungeons and raids can be repeatable and fun way to get upgrades. There's a lot too do and almost everything can be done with friends.
yep, its shockingly, embarrassingly, shamefully bad in its UI design and how it presents itself.
