Space for Final Shape

I only have 30 gigs on my computer, will final shape be like another destiny 2, Ive only played for 3 months so im not sure on how the space will work out for my computer, I just bought the final shape and i dont want to have wasted my money can someone please explain the amount of space needed

Hi there!

The total install space on Destiny 2 will be 155GB (approximate) when installed through Steam.

To preload, you will need approximately 300GB, but this will not be the final size when The Final Shape launches. The amount of disk space needed for the game will be 155GB.

What a lot of people do is they will uninstall the entire game, and then reinstall the game when the expansion releases (the 300GB is so that you can have the download AND the files at the same time because...steam and patches are weird)

You can also choose to not pre-load and update the game when The Final Shape itself launches.
