Help me choose a class please?

Im not new, got a couple hundred hours, first on lock then hunter, no exocits on titan sadly, what should I go for? Like I just can't decide, I like the drip of hunter but Warlock just plays better but looks horrible ugh, and there is titan which looks cool as f but I have litteraly 0 gear for him

Well you can always play all three, just varying levels. I've been a long time Hunter main, but in recent years I have grown to really appreciate Warlock. It's kind of difficult to recommend anything specific as the playstyles among the subclasses can vary wildly. And I'm not sure how you could have played for a couple hundred hours and not know which one you like most yet really. But I guess I'll just recommend Hunter anyway since it's the class I started with.

If you want to go with the stereotypes, then here we go:
Hunter if you want to PvP
Titan and Warlock if you want to PvE
Hunters are masters at PvP due to their quick dodges and mobility, Titan and Warlocks are a must have in any raid due to their protective capabilities. But remember, I'm just having fun and stereotyping. Ideally play all 3 so you don't burn out on just playing 1 all the time.

hunter is best in pve, titan is best in pvp. This seems counter intuitive because of all the casuals that place arbitrary roles on classes based on made up archetypes that don't exist, but once you have played enough you and get good enough you will come to the same conclusion. Titans are insane in 3v3 pvp with free overshields and short cd super. Hunters in pve have the best supers outside of well of radiance on warlock which is getting massively nerfed. Hunters also have assassins cowl for infinite healing and invis, aswell as lucky pants which give insane dps to primary ammo weapons so their dps and total dmg is higher than any other class, while also having the best survivability with cowl. titans are better only in specific situations in which you need to melee a boss

Here are the top 3 classes in no particular order
Titan, Warlock, Hunter

Pick one of those and you'll be playing on of the top 3 classes in the game. I do not recommend any classes not on my list for Destiny 2 they are unplayable.

Play whatever you want that ideology is crap, experience the game in your way, too many people wait and listen for eeigh in, or to be told what to play. Go do research listen to them then make a decision and go with it. It's supposed to be your experience not that of those around you.

nobody can give you a conclusive answer because there isn't one. your best bet is to play all of them to a varying degree. but if you think that takes a lot of time to be farming in all 3 characters you gotta choose one that overall looks and feels best to you.
