I keep getting error code cat

Error code cat means you have to update. There aren't any updates available on steam.
Is it a problem or is it normal (I'm pretty new i started this week)

I checked a few things, there is downtime for today (29th may) so it means when u try and login, you get error code cat

Daily reset time is around now so it may be because of that. Thats what im hoping at least, check back later and if its still a problem look at bungie net

Just checked some steam discussions, apparently there is downtime untill 8.00 BST and it has been extended (idk how long)

I have had this problem for 3 hours now. iI jave tryed everything, nothign works. Someone said that maintenance got extended but i am not sure if that means anything of value.

i checked some stuff, its a downtime to prepare for final shape i think.

Servers are officially shut down for maintenance, they were supposed to come back online in an hour or two from now, but they said there's an extension so idk...

Maintenance is extended until 2 pm EST (my local time so may need to convert). So servers will be down until then meaning no funny d2 game for now. So the "cat" error code is showing up bc there is technically a new version pending (just with the daily reset stuff I assume) we just can't access anything to update due to the server status

They post updates on their twitter (@BungieHelp) with times and such :)

(If I'm wrong on anything someone correct me, I'm just tryna help where I can and don't post on threads a lot lol)
