Previous 3 Expansions

A friend of mine is getting into Destiny 2, do they get to keep the three previous expansions that Bungie is letting people play for free, or will they need to buy them once June 4th comes around?

As I understand it, there will be packs for Shadowkeep and Beyond light, you can play those campaigns for free. The totally free time ends with Final Shape release.

You do keep all gear you earn while it's free and you keep stasis if you get it, but then with the campaign for that being free you can get it after Final Shape launch.

Also, right now, greenmangaming has the legacy collection for $10.20 and the armory collection for $5.10. I would expect those packs will be more and not include Witch Queen.

no u will loose the stasis subclass ... u only keep the exotics and items u earned from those expansions during this free time

The campaign will be free to play, so explain how something you earn in the campaign will go away?

but at later point u dont own the campaign ... also not to mention the time it will takes to unlock stasis subclass entirely (all fragments) .. maybe 2 months or an entire month if played regularly

so how ppl gonna unlock the fragments later if they dont have the campaign

You don't unlock them the way you did back then, you buy them with glimmer now. The campaign (for Shadowkeep and Beyond Light) is going free to play when Final Shape launches, so there is no issue of not owning them.

If you have it, you keep it. Not everything about Shadowkeep and Beyond light will be free, only the campaigns. I hear they will have a new Legacy Collection the includes Lightfall and the packs for Shadowkeep and Beyond Light. I would advise getting them now on greenmangaming where everything out now is like $33.00, I expect that new Legacy Collection will be $60.00.

Yes, the campaigns for Shadowkeep and Beyond Light will be free for all players to access at the launch of The Final Shape. For more information regarding this announcement, please review the TWID from three weeks ago, linked below!

And that's not all! When The Final Shape launches on June 4, the campaigns for Shadowkeep and Beyond Light along with the Stasis subclass will remain available to all players at no additional cost.

If you are looking to get everything else that the Shadowkeep and Beyond Light expansions have to offer beyond the campaigns, we will have two packs at your disposal, similar to the Forsaken Pack.
