Warlock vs Hunter?

I started a warlock character to test it out, and while some of the stuff about it I really like, other stuff seems quite difficult at the offset. Having played hunter for quite a while, I am used to the triple jump, as provides great mobility and can get good distance and height. But warlock jump abilities (I chose balanced) don't have such ease of movement. I struggle to get the requisite height, even though the glide seems powerful at the offset. Is this just beginner struggle or do warlocks continuously struggle with jumping?

Warlock jumping is difficult to get use to but it can be done with practice. Just remember to hold the jump button for as long as possible. I personally would recommend using strafe glide instead since it gives you the most control.

Warlock movement takes time to get used to, but once you start learning the mechanics it's honesty the best. Also use burst glide.

yeah it's just because you played hunter for so long. but you'll get used to it if you play enough

I concur with this. I’ve played Warlock the most but I have time on all three classes and Warlock jump is easily my favorite.

I also concur with the burst glide suggestion. It’s what I use.

Sometimes I do! I like variety. It's just that hunters jump is the safest out of the 3 not just for platforming but for survivability since hunters jumps don't leave you vulnerable in the air as long.

It's miserable to watch your genius space hipster magician slowly glide under the platform you want to be on and know you can't jump UP to save yourself the embarrassment and it is EMBARRASSING. After awhile you can see it coming a mile away and How to save a life by the fray plays as you wonder where you went wrong.

It'd be nice if they gave all the classes triple jump. They gave warlock hunters blink so I don't think it would be that big of an ask and I know a lot of people would appreciate it. You'd probably see a huge shift in players from hunter to other classes which would be great for gaurdian games-who am kidding with this?

I play titan and Warlock. And warlock is waaay better att jumping.
Greater control and easy. I make the jump where other classes fall.

It doesn't help that Glide has that weird momentum quirk were mistiming it can cause you to speed towards the ground rather than stop your descent like Hunters and Titans. I still do that occasionally and find myself missing a ledge when I would otherwise make it.

Oh i know it is and so does everyone else, but for this person to assume its elitism for stating facts is the typical dbag thing to do on steam forums. I also played a void hunter for 2 years before i switched to a void lock and honestly i like the class better, but the triple jump in my opinion is only good for certain things kinda like the warlocks teleport jump. Warlocks glide jump can be wonky no doubt but over all i think its better as you can get most distance out of the jump and not just an epic vert leap.

Its also cute that bunny thinks were the same person because OMG HEAVEN FORBID SOME RANDOM STRANGER SHARES YOUR OPINION. As i said typical steam forum user... "anyone who shares the same opinion is just an alt of the same person" but i forgot were all supposed to have opposing views and nobody is allowed to agree.
