Performance Issues (game stutter, FPS drops)
PC Specs- Custom Built by me and then looked at by a trusted local computer technician
CPU- Ryzen 7 5800X
GPU- AMD RX6600
MB- Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2
PSU- CORSAIR CX750M 80 PLUS Bronze Semi-Modular Low-Noise ATX 750 Watt Power Supply
RAM- Corsair VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz

All drivers are up to date. Massive stutter and gets worse when lowering the settings even though I shouldn't have to lower the settings at all. 165 FPS in menus, 100-120 FPS with weird drops anywhere else. Stutters happen even when the frames only drop by 2-3 frames. Very annoying. I am trying to come over to PC from console but this makes it impossible to.

Any help would be nice, no toxicity.

It is an issue destiny 2 has with AMD cards, its only temporary to reload the shaders again. It happen every time again when there are new AMD drivers. Dont worry its only temporary

I never had any stutter problems, but I upgraded from a HD7950 to a RX7900XTX.
So it might be an issue withthe 6xxx drivers?

My advice is to just keep playing, I had those stutters too when I started playing or when the shader cache gets deleted (it happens when you update windows and drivers). Just keep playing and the stutters will disappear by their own.

Thanks everyone for the advice, figures it's an AMD issue. Makes sense to me now, I was running on an old GTX 1660 Super with no stutter issues what so ever. Guess I should of stuck with Nvidia when I upgraded.
