Help with Mastering the Cerberus+1 in pvp

my favorite weapon is the Cerberus+1, tho i am decent with it, its mostly just been spray and pray i think, i also have the catalyst for it and suck with its "shotgun" type ability, is there anything i should know and or learn when using this gun that anyone could tell me please? i.e. its strengths and weaknesses, max range, etc...

Pick up a decent SMG and use it for a bit, should give you an idea as to the effective range for Cerberus. Also use the shotgun mode sparingly, it has very short range and it wont one tap like regular shotguns so try to melee after landing all pellets.

There isn't much to learn about using cerberus other than using it at close to semi medium range..

You will be losing any CQC encounter with shotgun users, and you will be outranged with any regular Autos. You can use it in PVP, of course, but don't expect it being really effective.

the key to the cerberus + 1 is hold F the gun is doo doo since they nerfed the catalyst.

there is no cerberus+1 pvp

this is my main gun for PVE until recently when it cost me another exotic in gambit, and also I just got sick of it for regular pve

I never touched it in PVP because it's clearly not meant to live there.

you might be able to use the shotgun mode as a shotgun but you'll probably just lose to any pvp shotgun especially felwinter lie

it doesn't have range, and you do pvp at longer distances. guardians are smaller targets, meaning the extra barrels won't hit. the main barrel needs those + headshots for the gun to make sense DPS wise. it's just not good for pvp
