The Pit of Heresy doesn't appear onscreen for me
I completed shadow keep when it first came out but never had a clan or friends to do it with. Since I've joined one I have wanted to get xenophage but the dingon hasn't appeared on my map since this season. It may not have been there for a while but I don't remember. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

u gotta do the quest for eris called "deepening wake" before you can do pit of heresy

Yep. You should've gotten the quest from Eris, it requires you to do a Tier 3 Altar of Sorrow and kill some Nightmares in the activity.
